Relax and Refresh at Our Farm Bed & Breakfast
Main Inn Rooms
Royalsborough
Named after the original village that was settled here in 1770, the Royalsborough room evokes the rustic, homespun feeling of the later years of the 18th century. This first-floor room has a beautiful view of the front courtyard and has the largest attached bath of all the rooms at Bliss Farm. The bathroom boasts antique brass fixtures on the pedestal sink and a tub and shower combination all under a beautiful, pressed tin ceiling. The barn wood style queen-sized bed is draped with quilts and premium down-alternative bedding that will surround you in comfort after a long day exploring the countryside.
Emma
Named after one of the Bliss sisters, Emma's room is a sunny second-floor room with a smaller, shower-only attached bath. This room is designed to honor Emma Bliss' life during the turn of the 20th century with Edwardian antiques, including a hand crank phone! The many south and west facing windows afford lovely views and bathe the room in gorgeous afternoon light. Snuggle up in the queen-sized bed after selecting a good book from the built-in bookcase that is within arm's reach. This room boasts a pressed copper ceiling in the bathroom, exposed brick fireplace (with electric fireplace insert), and several restored vintage photographs of the famous Bliss sisters.
Bliss
This airy and elegant second floor room honors the years between 1930 and 1940, when the Bliss homestead was a thriving dairy farm. The Bliss room offers lovely views of the farm to the south and east and includes a cozy electric fireplace. Slip under the crisp linens on your queen-sized bed for a well-deserved rest after a day of exploring the countryside or picnicking on the beach. This room includes a smaller, shower-only attached bath with a beautiful pressed tin ceiling.
Captain Bagley
Named for the original builder of the Bagley-Bliss house, the Captain Bagley room is a bright second-floor room at our Southern Maine inn with a large unattached, but private, bathroom that includes a shower and tub combination. This room features nautical antiques, a plush queen sized four poster bed, and a desk that is perfect for journaling about your day's adventures! Immerse yourself in late 18th century sailing history as you snuggle up by the electric fireplace after a long day of finding your own treasures in the nearby shops.
Cozy Nook
The Cozy Nook is a lovely garden themed hideaway nestled on the second floor of the inn and showcases many original features of the historic house. The south side of this room showcases an original exposed brick wall, 18th century wood beams stretch across the ceiling, and this room also boasts the inn's only skylight! The Cozy Nook also has a full-sized, handmade bed and a small cafe table and chairs to enjoy a game of cards or a light snack in the privacy of your room. The private bathroom, complete with an oversized shower, is detached and just a step from your door.
